From $2.3B to $10B in five years. European procurement is reshaping — and the corridor window for industrial suppliers is opening right now.
Turkey's defense exports are on a forecast trajectory from $2.3B (2020) to roughly $10B by the end of the decade, driven by EU member states rebuilding stockpiles and the NATO 2% defense spend commitment translating into real procurement. Turkish primes and sub-tier suppliers are being pulled into European programmes that were closed to them five years ago.
The corridor window is open now, but it won't stay open indefinitely. Suppliers positioning into the window — with certifications, European distribution, and named procurement contacts — will capture it. Suppliers waiting for the market to come to them will not.
